Chute Protection Solutions

“Chutes” is a general term for any trough used to direct the flow of a solid or liquid.

When directing the flow of very abrasive material, such as concrete, coal or any abrasive material – the chute can be quickly worn through. Maintenance by replacement can be costly and time consuming, disrupting the operation of the facility or power plant.

The ENECON Solution:

• METALCLAD Ceramalloy CBX™ or EBX™ - a precise combination of ceramic beads, carbide granules and polymer binder. These products are designed to repair and protect metal in the most severe abrasive environments.
• ENECRETE DuraQuartz™ - repairs to concrete; 3-4 times stronger than the typical industrial concrete.

Added Benefit: the equipment can continue to be maintained as the CBX/EBX wears, (a very long time) by simply reapplying the ENECON solution, no need to replace the equipment or take it out of service for long periods.
